Evil Dead Movie Location
NiteWatch made the trip to Morristown, TN to visit the site where the movie "Evil Dead" was filmed in 1979. Director Sam Raimi (of Spiderman fame) got his start with horror and "Evil Dead" was the first in a trilogy of some of the most popular horror movies ever. If you're familiar with the films, you can almost hear the woods say, "Join Us!" when facing the twin trees that frame the remains of the cabin. The site was so scary that three of us stayed in the car and would not risk finding the Necronomicon.
