Savannah, Georgia is steeped in history going back to Colonial times allowing many legends to abound. When combined with its beautiful riverfront squares, Spanish moss draped trees and old cemeteries, it is one of our favorite cities to visit. We enjoyed the River St. area shops, restaurants, historical homes and buildings before taking the Ghosts and Gravestones ghost tour. The tour was very entertaining and consisted of a theatrical approach to relating many ghostly tales as you creep around the historic area in a specially outfitted trolley bus. Included was a tour of the Sorrel-Weed house that has been investigated by TAPS "Ghost Hunters".
