Smith-McDowell Mansion

Four team members participated in the investigation of the Smith-McDowell Mansion in Asheville, NC on Friday, October 13th with the LEMUR team. Josh Warren and Brian Irish provided some history and video of past investigations before we took a guided historical tour of the home. The mansion was draped in Victorian funerary decor with most rooms providing varying examples of mourning rituals typical of the mid to late 1800's. The investigation itself utilized Electromagnetic Field Meters, temperature sensors, a geiger counter, infrared video and photography, audio recording, and possibly the most reliable technique, intuitiveness. Randy captured a strange light in one video, but was explained later in video analysis on a large screen as being a reflection and Daniel is still analyzing video in which he suspects may have "orbs." The event received TV coverage from the local Fox News affiliate and many other paranormal enthusiasts attended.

These pictures were taken with infrared night-shot.
