July 1985
At approximately 1 am, Steven, and two others were
traveling on Traphill Road and as their car made a right
turn onto Billings Hill Ch. Rd., Steven notices an odd fog
formation drifting north basically in the highway on Traphill
Rd. He stopped the car and pointed out the fact that the
fog had taken on the shape of three horses with at least
one rider slumped over. Instead of laughing at his
perception, the others indeed saw the same thing that was
quite apparent. Fear gripped everyone and it was decided
to drive away. Quickly.
Determination: Natural anomaly
Documentation: None
Summer 1992
Around 10 pm Jamie, Calvin, Steven and Shane are driving
south on the Blue Ridge Parkway and notice a light about
tree level. They stopped the car and watched the light
for several minutes. It was perfectly silent and orange
in color. It slowly rose and as it did, it grew in size.
It lasted about 3-4 minutes.
Though we waited to see another, one did not appear. We
began driving again and about 5 miles down the road, we
saw another light very similar which behaved the same way, but
was not observed as long.
Determination: Signal flare?
Documentation: None
Fall 1997
Calvin, Marie, John and Lynn are driving on the Blue
Ridge Parkway in the vicinity of mile marker 300. A sudden,
brief, but bright blueish-white light illuminated the entire
interior of the car for just a split second.
The astonished occupants were totally at a loss to explain
what had happened. There were no other vehicles or light
sources apparent in the area.
Determination: Unknown

Brown Mountain. Several are seen, but are short in duration.

NiteWatch believe are natural plasma.
